If you are accustomed to using kde and if you love it, a desktop environment that can see all your needs is more preferable than its only competitor gnome desktop.
Of course, other than the light source of the system resources are consuming a little more inevitably. This is not a problem if you have enough ram.
Manjaro except plasma-installed arch-based multi-deployment encountering crashes on this desktop. However, there is no crash in distributions such as opensuse kdeneon kubuntu.
