Slackel and Slackware
With the simplicity of Slackware, the fastest running linux distribution with its package structure.
But the end-user should solve the small problems compared to other graphics-based multi-use linux distributions.
As the latest stable version, slackware 14.0 isolar was released in the 9th month of 2012.

Slackware-based deployments that the end-user can use more easily, based on this legacy but fast linux distribution, have become more common as other distributions over time. These slackware-based deployments include: Kangoni (Australia), Linvo (Bulgaria), Slackel (Greece), Porteus, Salix Os, VectorLInux, Zenwalk Linux, Other distributions Frugalware and Arch Linux are the same distributions that work with the same logic. Of these, the end user is the least problem, so the most current currently slackel.Hem current and full compatible with both slackware can use a beautiful distribution. This is the latest release of the slackel distribution Slackel 5.0 "Openbox" version of what we can do with what I can do. I downloaded this iso file as it is current, the Openbox desktop is not what I prefer.
Slackel openbox is a text-based setup menu with a little more than you know the installation logic of linux installation quickly and easily
After the installation of a fast desktop, you can use the tool called conky desktop tool ram, etc. shows the amount.
Desktop network as a wicd tool is used for those who are accustomed to the network managere a bit boring .Libreoffice is not installed but without any changes in the repositories you want to easily install each side of the different size of the file size error, etc. when you choose more.
When the desktop comes before you, we are updating the system. I recommend that you use the slapt-get commands for package installation.
slapt-get --update
slapt-get --add-key
change the reflection of the packages to be sent. Slackel slackware 14.0 uses Greece and salix Os "current" packages.
nano / etc / slapt-get / slapt-getrc
With this command you can view these mirrors and add the stores you want.

Ctrl-o to save and exit with ctrl-x to show packages to the system
slapt-get --add-key
slapt-get --update
command.
To install kde after installation is complete, just enter the following commands.
slapt-get -i --install-set kde
This command will download approximately 500 mb of files.
The following kdm themes should also be added to the system.
slapt-get -i slackel-kde-artwork slackel-kdm-theme
slapt-get-i zzz-settings-slackel-kde user-settings-slackel-kde
If you are using gdm login manager, do not think about how to install kdm from the package manager.
"gslapt package manager" to remove the gdm package and re-open the system will allow you to open kdm. Before you do this, it is worth to subscribe to your group called kdm. If you do not have a group kdm, you can create users and groups from the system menu.
You can enter the system by selecting the kde session in the login manager. Wicd network manager didn't like you I want to use network manager you should install related packages.
kdenetwork, NetworkManager, network-manager-applet packages
network-manager-applet
You can also install the slapt-get command.
slapt-get --search xxxx
You can download packages from online repositories.
http://slackfind.net/en/packages/search/?name=krusader&distversion=
Or you can compile and build yourself
http://slackbuilds.org/repository/14.0/network/broadcom-sta/
ultimately slackware is not poor in terms of package.
I just need to use network manager when I need
chmod 755 /etc/rc.d/rc.networkmanager
The command will make the file works.
/etc/rc.d/rc.networkmanager start
You can launch networkmanageri with the command.
With the /etc/rc.d/rc.networkmanager stop command, you can connect with wicd again.
network problems
Don't forget to install the most used libreoffice in linux
slapt-get -i libreoffice
And the surprise is that many windows that are not stable in the distribution of the compiz window manager slackware can be easily compiled and loaded into the system.
slackelde two easy-to-use tool integrated into the system one of them
Sourcery SlackBuild Manager
you can easily install compiz and many other packages by using this tool which has an icon in the form of a cap of wizards and you can easily install many other packages in .gslapt package manager.
Compizi you can set up here without looking anywhere else in a certain order to go alone.
1.ccsm
2.libcompizconfig
3.compizconfig-Phython
4.compiz-bcop
The 5.compiz-Boxmeer
6.compiz-plugins-main
7.compiz-plugins-extra
8-COMP-plugins-unspported
9-compizconfig-backend-kconfig4
10-fusion-icon
11-emerald
12-emerald-themes
When installing these packages you may have compilation errors due to missing packages in your system. The package named as Sourcery SlackBuild Manager could not be found in the error message was a problem, try to find it and try again.
There is a situation that prevents it from working after installing the compiz that desktop effects don't work, and we do it with a command.
rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/disable-composite.conf
And we use the effects we want from the compizconfig setting manager.
Some programs such as skype wine in the system if you are using 64 bit slackware for 32 bit compatibility you need to do the following operations.
Apart from the slapt-get in, the slackpkg tool for system update is needed in this stage.
First we install slackpkg
slapt-get -i slackpkg
then we organize slackpkg s warehouses.
nano / etc / slackpkg / mirrors
After the repository of current and uncheck pound turkey in front of the store on two sections ctrl-x to exit with save-it yeterli.ctrl next move
slackpkg update
slackpkg upgrade-all
slackpkg install-new
You can update with commands. When making Slackpkg updates, you will be asked what to do with the new configuration files. Protect the appropriate solution Keep "K" Press the letter "O" in this case you can choose to overwrite the graphical interface at system startup
Change the line that says id: 3 to Nano / etc / inittab id: 4. It will switch to the graphical interface when you restart.
After you make these updates, the system may have a group error when you turn the computer on and off. There is no need to panic. Since the new kernel version number has changed, grub cannot see this kernel. To do so, type the new kernel number in /boot/grub.cfg in your system. Check the name of the new kernel by using a live cd or other installed linux. Grub error: file / boot / vmlinuz-huge-3.10.16 not found an error such as found /boot/grub.cfg file in a text editor when editing your new vmlinuz-huge-3.10.17 to save your system will be sufficient to open. But to avoid this situation is a more comfortable way to reboot the system before installing the system grub-customizer.
slapt-get -i grub-customizer
There is no problem if you run this program and save the new grub settings.
Slackpkg is the default package for slackware and there is no graphical interface, but if you have installed slackpkg after the glapt package manager has been removed for the convenience of the user, I suggest to continue with slackpkg due to incompatibility. slackpgk will update the local slapt-get packages. Slapt-get will want to update the slackpkg packages. The most stable is to install the package from the slapt-get but not update.
The important slapt-get commands are that gslapt is already offering a graphical interface.
Slapt-Get Commands * --update Updates the package list.
* --upgrade Updates the board packages.
* --dist-upgrade Perform upgrade.
* --search searches for packages.
* --install Sets up package
* --remove Removes the package.
* --show Displays package information.
After installing Slackpkg and updating with slackpkg, slackel will return to slackware distribution.
Very used in slackpkg below:
slackpkg update (Updates package database)
installs slackpkg install x (downloads x pack)
slackpkg upgrade x (updates x package updates)
slackpkg reinstall x (downloads and installs the x package)
slackpkg remove x (removes the x package)
slackpkg clean-system (Slackware is not recommended to delete and remove any unloaded packages from the slackpkg repository)
slackpkg upgrade-all (updates files in the updated database with slackpkg update)
slackpkg install-new (installs all new packages added to the Slackware package set is not recommended.
slackpkg blacklist (You can use a package to exempt the update)
slackpkg download x (downloads only the x package)
slackpkg info x (gives information about the x package)
slackpkg search x (search x pack name)
The SlackBuild Manager in Slackel comes with slapt-get, SlackBuild Manager compiles and installs programs that are not in slackware's repositories, so there is no shortage of packages. You can do it yourself by downloading the related files from SlackBuild Manager program.
http://slackbuilds.org/repository/14.0/multimedia/ffmpeg/
download two files for mesa ffmpeg
ffmpeg.tar.gz
FFmpeg-0.11.1.tar.bz2
open the file and put the bottom file into it
chmod + x ffmpeg.SlackBuild
To install the file in the / tmp folder is prepared only back
installpkg
you have to write. Also if you say I want to see the packages online ready. Best address as below

Again, to meet the taste of an inedible system ...
